20 amp fuse blows and motor cut off when PTO swith engaged

Replaced the solenoid and the PTO switch to get the engine cranked and moving, but motor stall and cut off when the PTO switch is engaged to turn the blades.

Sounds like PTO is bad. Put 12v and ground to it and see it it works or not.

Per Blaz and check +12v feed wire for chafe/contact to ground such as touching frame.
