Sorry, but couldn't find this issue on forum. Both run great, then when I run out of gas and fill it up, they will not start even with ether and no filter but start if I turn if off hot and restart it without refilling. Wait about 12 hours and they start. I haven't played with the float since it runs great, no stalling or missing when running. Gas is new from 2 different gas stations. Both don't burn oil but you can see a little smoke and both always start by third pull when cold. Both Craftsmen.

1980's Tecumseh Leaf blower/shredder. Replaced carb 3 times for separate issues, manual choke, replaced electric contacts, filter, spark plug, muffler.

1990's Briggs 5hp Leaf blower, nothing done to it other than filter, oil changes, spark plug.

Thanks guys!

Safety First: Let all outdoor power equipment cool down in shade before refueling for 10 to 15 minutes. Years ago I was in a hurry to refuel backpack blower & finish job but fire consumed blower in a matter of minutes, lesson learned the hard way. I am older & retired now so I try to just take my time.
