2" governor spring

Hey guys, there is a spring on the governor that attaches to one of the holes on the control panel on this 17 hp Kawasaki FH500V - ES10 engine ... probably goes to the throttle linkage but I'm not certain and the cell phone pics I took of it a few months ago don't show it. Anyone know which hole the north end of this spring attaches to?

poppy, I'm bumping this because this week the forum member posted a great blow up picture to help a requester with an identical problelm...BUT that person was a lady. I hope someone will do the same for you and not discriminate because of sex-that's illegal:laughing:

Thanks Motoman, I actually got the 17 hp Kaw engine running again today after pulling the head, using a big cert after popping one head bolt, then some valve guide work that wouldn't let the exhaust valve close. Burns a little oil, have to see about that next weekend.:laughing:
