2 cycle fuel?????

I own a leaf blower that needs 40-1 gas- oil mixture. And my new trimmer is 50-1. Do I really need two gas cans or can I CHEAT and mix 45-1 or something? Just asking. Jay

Always better to be heavier on oil rather than less its easy to clean carbon build up in exhaust not so easy to rebuild a machine due to lack of lube

There are synthetic 2-cycle oils which you can use in both units. The brand that I recommend is Opti-2. This might help you understand what I am talking about.

Thanks for the ideas. My final solution is to mix a gallon of 50-1 and just add a small amount of oil into the tank of the 40-1 blower when I refill it. Shake and use. I'll let you know if anything blows up.

Doing it that way is going to foul the plugs and/or build up an oil residue in the carb. To each his own.
