I heard on the news yesterday that the USGS reported that the ground in a western suburb of Chicago shook at 2.7 on the richter scale. They later said it was because of blasting they were doing at a rock quarry nearby. Anyone else hear about this?

I heard about it, and it sounds like the quarry was what did it. I know it's near the New Madrid fault line, but it's too much of a coincidence that the quarry was blasting when the earth shook.
