I have an early 1990s john deere 320 lawn tractor with a kawasaki Fd590V
My mower has been stalling out on me when it gets hot. I pulled the wires off the spark plugs (spark plugs were put in this season) and touched a screwdriver to the wires and the frame while turning the key..i saw spark in both wires.
There was a bit of dirt/grime in the small hole on the inside of the gas cap...i cleaned that out the best i could last night, i havent tried running it yet this morning to see if that fixed it. The air temperature is cooler this morning (upper 60's in Fahrenheit) So i'll bet it wont even stall out because of how cool it is outside.
When i tried to pull one of the wires off the plug, i accidentally pulled it wrong/too hard and this happened....can i just push it back in and be ok? http://i.imgur.com/Z1irVFo.jpg
I'd also like to clean this http://i.imgur.com/HIlFS83.jpg how do i even begin?
