I recently purchased a 1999 Grasshopper 721D with 1500 hours. Previous owner said the fuel solenoid was bad, so he had it unplugged at the pigtail and used a wire to hold it in while running, and released the wire to let the arm move forward and shut the fuel off. When I got it home I plugged in the solenoid, with the key off, and it engaged and pulled the lever in and it got very hot. It would not release forward until it was unplugged. I replaced the ignition switch and the solenoid, and the new solenoid still engages with the key off. As soon as I plug it in it engages. How do I fix this problem?
Thank you.
Thank you.
