I have a 1998 721 3cyl kubota gas engine.
About 1400hrs on it.
I have owned it since new.
Never any problems, just normal maintenance.
I just changed the oil and filter and grease it.
I was mowing when it coughed, with a great big cloud of smoke and then I noticed a very light sheen of liquid on the side of the block from head down.
The oil has no water in it. The radiator is completely full. Did I blow a head gasket? Or just a coincidence?

Yes, I could be a blown head gasket, but I have a couple of questions. Did this happen just once or does it continue? Is there a loss of power, especially under load? What does The plug look like on the cylinder where you suspect the leak? Have you completely dried the area where the leak is and see if it comes back?
