Have replace battery and cables. It will turn on and lights will come on, but will not turn engine( onan) over. When you switch off, then it will not come on again.
Have you tried "jiggling" the forward and reverse lever on the right of the steering column. I have found that if I don't have the lever in exactly the right place the power will be on but the engine won't turn over.
