Greetings to all...
Perfect operation for all these years of my well maintained 1991 JD 332 diesel.
Past summer the engine was stopping with the fuel solenoid turning it off.
After 2-3 hours or after overnight, I could restart the engine but after 10-15 minutes the fuel solenoid would stop the engine.
Changed the fuel solenoid and the associated wiring connections. The same situation - stoppage repeated again.
The John Deere shop electrical wiring diagram shows a few interlocks.
Logically, the fuel solenoid controls the running/stopping of the engine.
It appears that in cooler weather or early morning, the engine will run, but then it will stop again.
Is the engine heat affects the fuel solenoid?
Any suggestions?
Thanks
