i changed the oil & put a new spark in. i primed it several times, as this is the first start up this season. it was running fine, although it kinda sounded hard. it was running & i started to cut lawn when i hit a thick patch of mawn which stopped the engine. i put the mower on the drive way & pulled the starting cord several times and it wouuldnt start. i rechecked the gap on the spark plug. the oil was fine. i thought maybe i may have flooded it. so i went in for lunch, than tried to start the engine again. just wont start. .......how do you know if it was something serious like the crank shaft. when i pull the cord, it sounds like might start....anyone have any ideas?
