I haven't posted many pictures in the last few years, and i synced my phone so the pics are on the computer now. I found this beauty a few years ago. This one is all original and has not been restored. needless to say it will never be for sale and is now in the collection. I got it for $30! Carb clean and capstan self propelled adjustment and it is perfect

Truly a beautiful machine.

I am amazed you got it for 30 bucks, but good for you!

I am in the midst of piston ring replacement on my LB. Can't wait for spring to try out the new power!

Thanks for posting those pics. Looks great.

i wouldn't have gotten it for $30 if the self propelled worked properly or at all. There is a bolt adjustment on the capstan behind the right wheel that needed adjusted. when i did that it gave me the 1/4" i needed between the back tire and capstan rollers. The dude had no idea what it was. Just glad i got over to his house in time!

No kidding! That's very lucky on your part.

I'm probably going to get a DuraForce this spring. I like my Gold model well enough, but when I bought it, the dealer had a DuraForce model as well and I have regretted not getting it since that day 10 years ago. But I sure won't get the deal YOU got! Congrats.

Some people might consider a DuraForce model a step down. While the engine may be good, Lawnboy cheapened most other parts on the unit.
