I have a traditional Lawn Boy F-Series, self propelled mower with pull rope starter. I need to replace the starter but cannot remove it from the engine. The set screw is completely removed and with some effort I can manually rotate the starter itself, but cannot pull it free from the engine. Is there some method or device others have used to pull the starter assembly from the engine block? Thank you.
