1968 Toro Professional 70"

I have a 1968 Toro Professional 70", I was wondering if anyone had any info on this mower particularly the reverse. Mine has two pulleys one off the motor and on for the drive system....push the lever forward and the belt tightens around the two and you go forward...pull the lever backwards and the two pulleys touch and you go backwards BUT both the pulleys are metal so reverse doesn't work to well. I figure there has to be some sort of rubber that goes around one of the pulleys but I don't know. I hope someone has some info on it and maybe a part number. Thanks in advance.

Troy built uses the same type of system on some of their tillers for reverse

I've looked at all the parts diagrams but I still can't tell if the pulleys have a rubber grommet around them or not...or rather which one of the traction pulleys have a rubber around them. I've emailed TORO and still haven't heard from them yet.
