I inherited a '86 185 hydro. It has a Kawasaki FC540V. It sat for 2 years, I cleaned up the carb, changed the oil and filters and it was running pretty good for a couple months. It has started hiccuping and possibly banging (although I'm not sure if its just the engine being loose). Any idea why she could be hiccuping? I am thinking the carb could need a rebuild/replace but am not sure if it could be fuel pump or something like that... the lines seem to be in good shape.
