I cooked the motor in my 07 riding mower so I bought a new one to change it out. The only problem I have is my old engine had a six pin plug to the mower and the replacement has one red wire and the two wire plug for the carb. Can I make this work? Thanks Ed.

the model number info for both engines would be very helpful, so we can see what two engines you have in front of you.

The six pin plug only has four pins used and two are just jumped. I'm new to this I have pictures I just don't know how to post.
