I am trying to locate the correct coil for this engine. The engine is coupled to a generator.
It has the wire going to the plug and two smaller wires coming off it. It has a set of points that one small wire goes to.
I think the third wire is to excite the generator.. Wiring diagram would be nice.
Any help would be appreciated.

the points coil is NLA, this 398811 eliminates the need for Points and condenser.
