I have a 13 hp Predator engine - purchased in Jan. of this year. It will not charge battery. Nor will it start when jumping from car battery. With car battery the starter on predator engine spins but will not engage flywheel. Any help be appreciated.

These engines come with 2 year warranty. I'd pick up a phone and give'em a call.
Also, they don't have charging system for the battery. You must charge battery with a battery charger manually.

I second Jack. HF has a very good replacement policy at the retail stores, sometimes even out of warranty , without receipt (my case).
