Hi Guys,

I am currently pulling my hair out trying to figure out where this white wire goes. I had no trouble with this small engine, ever. Usually starts first pull. I tried and tried to pull start the engine but almost had a heart attack. I put the Power washer inside my van and it wasnt sitting all that pretty to be honest so I'm thinking I disconnected this white wire from somewhere.

Its probably so obvious to some of you guys but me not so much because the end of the wire doesnt look like it can connect to anything other than another wire. I uploaded some pics, so please help me out if you can, its greatly appreciated .. oh and the end of the white wire goes to the backside of the On /Off switch .. Thank you

remove that red blower housing (the one with the sticker and rope starter on it) and you'll see the ignition coil sitting right above the flywheel (can't miss it), there should be a small wire on it, that is the kill wire, trace that wire and be sure it's plugged up properly.
is that white wire the only one that comes from the on/off switch?

Hi there Scrubcadet 10,

i uploaded 5 more photos after doing you what you said. I always saw the tab next to the black wire but said it couldn't go there because of the end of the wire alone. I put another connector on the wire and tried that tab that's in the Pic but got no where so I ripped the end off leaving it like that til this is figured out. I took the carb bowl off and it is dirty so I am cleaning it and slapping it together but regardless there is a wire that doesn't have a home. So there is a total of 2 white wires, one connected to the On/off than goes to the part you were talking about that's above the fly wheel, and than from there the one runs down the machine that we have been speaking of .

Hope this helps!!
Thanks

I'm thinking now that it could be a spare wire for if that engine was equipped with a Low Oil Shutdown/oil sensor...

okay, that helps!! So now ill take the rest of the carb apart and clean it thoroughly. Forgot to mention, when I took the bowl of the carb, there was no spring in there . Regardless when I finish cleaning the carb I will put it back together and top off the oil if low, it kind of looked like it was just a tad below halfway through the site glass. Ill keep ya posted and hopefully finish this off so someone who searches in the future about possibly the same thing, it's here. and they have an answer.

Thanks for your help,
Greatly Appreciated
