My Scott's 1642 uses the 1156 bulbs for the headlights but I was wanting to replace them with brighter LED bulbs. Unfortunately I'm having a hard time finding out what what the lumen ratings are on the various alternatives. Everybody claims theirs is the brightest. Anyone got any suggestions on which one I should be looking at? Don't want to spend a fortune on them but definitely want a much brighter bulb.
I thought about doing the same thing on my L120 but I don't want to melt my headlights. But you're thinking LED and I was thinking halogen. I'm not sure how hot they will get. I'm gonna look around some on the LEDs. I agree, the 1156 bulbs are... pitiful.
