I am rebuilding a Gold pro 10547, and have decided I do not want the electric start on it when I am done. Are these parts( Starter, wiring harness, key switch) worth anything? The battery and cover were missing when I got the mower, or they would be included as well.
The Lawn-Boy website shows the starter alone at 423.00. Selling in on your local Craigslist site, you might only get 40.00 for the assembly.
I'd say the mower would be worth more, if you kept it original (even though you don't want to use the electric start). It is a handy feature for somebody that doesn't want to pull start it.
