Hello,

I am new to this forum. I have been using Lawn Boy mowers since I was old enough to mow the lawn (9 years old). When I was young my Dad was a fan of these mowers and we had several over the years that he picked up from curbs and fixed. The bug has got me too and I have just picked up another 10515 Gold Series today which has issues with the self-propelled drive. I can see the sheave on the crank trying to catch but it doesn't grab it like it should. I'm looking through the parts catalog online and am not having much luck. Got any ideas?

Thanks!

I tore it apart. The set screw is loose. The main seal is shot also.

Here is my pair of 10515's.

its possible a sheared pin or sheared key inside the transmission part, also might check the key on the pully

I've had problems with the pulley coming loose also, until I used some locktite on the set-screw. Since then, no problem.
