The "super" has a larger (displacement) engine -- and other differences as well, which is probably explained on the page linked above. :wink:

I have a Stihl 028 WB. Good saw -- but it needs a bar and chain right now.

I'm not sure about this but I couldn't find the Super wood boss on the chart, is Stihl not making it anymore? It does show the Wood Boss and Farm Boss, so I was wondering if the Farm Boss the was taking the Super Wood Bosses place.

The 028 was quiet a very good saw, ourエs is from 1985 and still in service, but it is out of production since 1990. Parts are not longer available.
