01' 26 hp running on one cylinder

Only runs on one cylinder. Could bad push rods and cam shaft cause this?

Heck, pull one of the plug wires so you know what side yo are looking at!!!

I dont know much about engines at all. So thanks for such helpful responses... One of my buddies told me this and I was just seeing if it could be the case.

Could be. unplug one plug wire and try to start, and see what happens. then plug it back in and try the other side, and tell us what happens, and find the engine's model/type/spec
numbers.
