Been a great motor. Drained tank end of last season. This season it starts fine but wants to backfire some through carb and blew air filter off. Runs well without air cleaner. Suggestions.

I know this is a lawn mower repair forum, but I figured I would try my luck. I bought a used Karcher G2500VH pressure washer with no water pump. Using a caliper, I found that the shaft from the Honda GCV 160 engine is exactly 20mm (a hair over 3/4"). I haven't been able to find this water...
