gas cap

Looking for a replacement gas cap for my Tiger Cat. Looks like scag number is 484286, they are 45-55 bucks - yikes!!! who else makes one that will work?? help is appreciated

The tether that holds the gas cap broke off the cap and fell into the tank. Any suggestions on the best way to get it out? I'd rather not leave it in there if I can avoid it.
