backfires

    Tecumseh engine backfires

    I was given a TroyBilt Tuffy rear tine tiller, that, after fresh gas, started right up. Kind of runs ok but it backfires out the muffler. The tiller model number is 12060 while the S/N is 120600250536. The engine is H30 35387V Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Alan

    Riding mower ran too fast, now backfires and hard to start

    Kohler CV15S engine on my old Sears riding mower. Was running fine, then suddenly I noticed it was running really fast and power was missing. Shut it off and it backfired before re-starting, still was running full out. I checked the timing because of the backfire but the shear key is fine...

    Sthil FS 38 backfires

    Had my Stihl FS 38 in storage for two years. No gas in tank but some in primer bowl. Added gas and no start up. Thought carb was the issue. Replace carb with OEM Zamba.
