I have a 1973 John Deere 112. The clutch on this tractor wants to float back and forth under load. I'm guessing the variator clutch spring is worn. Is there any thing else that might cause this? I will adjust the variator once I get it put back together. thanks

I have a John Deere 116. The identification number is M00116D302868. Can anyone tell me anything about this mower? I looked at TractorData.com. They don't list anything with an Identification number with a D. Only an A or B (M00116A------- or M00116B-----)

I just acquired a 1970 Wheel Horse charger 12. the previous owner put a different engine on it. I have the original Tecumseh motor for it but it looks like there should be a mounting pad between the motor and the engine. Anybody know what it looks like or where I might find one.
