Pretty sure it's not fuel related as I have tried running it on carb cleaner with no luck. There should be spark but there is light to none using both an in-line tester and pulling plug testing outside the engine.
I have a 245 with a 14hp kawasaki. It will not start. With an in-line spark tester there is little to no spark even with grounding wires removed. Gap is correct on plug and coil. New coil, ignition module, spark plug.
Looking for suggestions.
I had a model come in the shop like this and could never duplicate but every time it went home he had a problems. Flushed fuel system, cleaned pickup, checked fuel pump, and verified hoses were not pinched/kinked (Deere has a case out for this). Finally I was able to get it to do it for me, I...
I would say the fuel shut off is working as it should. Sounds like bad fuel mixed with clogged jets in the carb. Suggest flushing fuel if it is bad (goes bad after 30days without stabilizer in it) and cleaning the carb.
You can check and see if the ground is bad by using the other pin as the ground when you check for voltage, use meter to see voltage not a test light. Also put you hand on the solenoid and turn the key to on position, you should feel it click. If it does then the carb needs to be cleaned or your...
I have a 1999 F935 where the PTO just stopped working and kills the unit. When you engage the PTO switch it engages the PTO/brake solenoid and holds into place until it actuates the PTO/Brake switch then drops out and the fuel shutoff disengages killing the engine. I have disconnected the...
I have a 2013 Snapper NXT that wont stay running. I replaced the stator because it was fried. The fuel pump seems to be working (I get flow when cranking) but other than that I am at a lost. It only runs for about 5 mins before shutting down and seems to run hard at full throttle. Any suggestions?
