Would something like this work? Previous plastic bushing removed and replaced with a sealed bearing from VXB.com. It is F6202-2RS flanged sealed miniature Bearing 15x35x11x5. This was done on a HR 215. I saw it the other day; bearing is ~ $8.00 each. You have to press the bearing in.

Shop manual is applicable to GXV 140 except specs. I did not create the HR 214 Blog but glad to share the resources. I rebuilt my GXV 140 last winter and the blog has a lot of excellent resources including cleaning a Honda carb (easy). Hope you find it helpful...
