Finding the Champion Spark Plug CJ8 sold out, I was informed by the mower repair shop that the Champion CJ8Y was an acceptable replacement. I purchased it, but after researching I'm inclined to believe it should NOT be used to replace the CJ8. Before returning it, can someone assure me one way...

I have a 2004 Simplicity Zero-Turn, Model 1694454, and would like to adjust the height setting higher, to any extent possible. I currently have the deck lift/cutting height level raised to the fullest point. Anyone able to tell me if this can be done, hopefully by myself. Many thanks. Larry

My Kohler CV493, 18hp, is on a 2004 Simplicity Zero-Turn, Model 1694454, which I purchased new. For the first time and during my last mowing, the engine suddenly shut down while mowing, between every 2 - 4 minutes. It re-started after every occasion, but only after waiting a few moments...
