    Craftman LT1000 6-speed 42" deck drive belt size needed

    I've tried a couple searches and not found the answer yet. I just want to run to Tractor Supply tomorrow and buy a drive belt. I think I have an early 2000 Craftsman LT1000 - it had a Peerless Tecumseh 6-speed rear end, but that grenaded last Saturday, and I could only find a Spicer 6-speed...

    Opposed Twin 19.5 Dies after 30 minutes, lotsa condensation on fuel manifold

    Just for the record, the condensation issue was not the sign of vapor lock or anything weird like that. I found some small grass clipping debris in the bottom of the gas-tank. The mower would run for 20 minutes, then the debris sucked up against the exit hole in the tank, and tractor died...

    I have a strange problem - I have a 19.5hp opposed twin I/C on a Craftsman LT1000 that used to run great. I had busted up the hood, and took it off, and then when mowing up against a bush, I cracked the flange that holds the carburetor on the fuel manifold. I had a spare 18hp opposed twin...

    Exhaust glowing red - issues..

    As others have touched on, I have had the red glowing exhaust (and visible flames at night) when the shrouds were stuffed with a mouse nest, and the exhaust valve needed to be adjusted to avoid opening too early. I'm not sure which one was the most critical - I found both during my maintenance.

    Hey - found a good deal on a Hustler 261 - looks like a tank compared to some big-box stores Zero Turns. I can't tell from the pictures, or from online parts stores if it uses an electric PTO or not. Also, any comments about the goods and bads of these older "out-front" style zero turns...
