I have a ryobi S430 gas trimmer.... the stop button is not shutting off the engine. i replaced the stop button easy enough but that did not solve the issue. it still will not turn off using the button. is there some other issue that could be causing it not to shut off? the unit runs and works...

I have a ryobi 4 cycle trimmer... yesterday i tried to start it and the pull string would not budge. (i shouldn't have said 'retract' in the subject line) i removed the spark plug (which was very dirty... and had oil on it) then tried the pull string again.... this time it moved in and out...

somehow i managed to ruin the threads in the blade shaft of my walk behind mower (7/8" shaft). The blade comes loose by itself. it looks like i need to re-thread the shaft somehow with a larger bolt size. i've never done this before but i'm pretty sure i can handle it. just need some...
