Cub cadet 1720 s/n 189986. I was mowing when the hyrdo belt idler froze and kicked the belt off. Now the mower is dead just like a safety switch is open. The only switch close to the belt is the brake and I see no damage. I have searched wiring from to back and can't find any damage. Any ideas...

The hydro has oil and the fan turns but no forward or reverse. Noticed splined shaft does not rotate. I see that I can get parts. Is this a major undertaking ? I do most repairs myself but don't want to get way over my head. Thanks for any help. Mower is in GREAT shape other wise.
