Thanks, guys. It was the main fuse. I feel silly for not thinking to check that earlier. I didn't see any obvious wire shorts or other problems, and a new fuse got it running immediately, so here's hoping it was just an old, weak one.

My son was mowing with our Husqvarna YTH20K46 which has been running perfectly. No issues whatsoever, starting or running. He had just started mowing and realized he had left the mulching cover on. He disengaged the blades, shut off the mower, removed the mulching cover and went to restart...

I've just acquired a Husky YTH20K46, circa 2009. Overall the mower is in pretty good shape but the previous owner says the Kohler Courage 20 (SV-600) motor is blown. I haven't yet tried to crank it myself, but assuming it really is toast I'd like to replace it with something a grade or two...

Trying to get my Murray riding mower up and going. It's got the Briggs & Stratton 21hp OHV I/C twin with dual-barrel carb. If I squirt starter fluid in the intake it fires up and runs for 3-4 seconds, then dies. Choke on/off and throttle position makes no difference. I'm guessing it's starved...
