What would you recommend as being a good machine for a novice to learn on? I'd like to learn to take care of one myself, and specifically be able to change parts and make repairs, and I have literally no experience.
I have an old flower bed that seems to be totally dead, and that I don't want. It's useless as it is in the way of where the kids play. Would you seed it or lay down some new turf to cover it?
