How did you end up repairing the key way slot on the shaft for the pulley? I have very similar chipper (DEK CH1), & just replaced L & R shaft bearings. Need Help on Flywheel Removal on Snapper RER
I have a '96 Snapper RER model 331314BE with B&S vertical shaft engine. Hard starting & when it does, runs rough with slight misfire. I think flywheel key may be sheared & want to pull flywheel to check it. Problem is there is a cast lower housing to the pull start that appears to be pressed...
