Oh bummer, did the carb work pretty well?

I got it for the 185 mine is on a 25th anniversary snapper, mine had the straight fuel inlet on the side.

I had purchased a carb off Amazon but was never able to get the choke lever to sit down far enough, also what did you do with the plastic bushing that came with the new carb? Also did you have any issues turning the fuel inlet?
