    Thanks Startech, I did take off the spark arrester and burned off the carbon, reinstalled it and it fired up. I also put a new spark plug in it.     FS74 trimmer won’t run

    OK, so yesterday it ran fine. tried to use it today and got nothing. I’m going to check for spark. If it is the coil do they still make replacement parts for the fs74? Looking on line for parts and don’t see much. Anyone know how old the FS74 is?
