I checked out your thread, my dealer told me they've repaired maybe 6 mowers with bad camshafts. All have turned out well. He didn't have any more new ones, would have swapped out if so. Dealer said he thinks maybe they changed suppliers on the camshafts, not sure though. Hopefully I'll get it...

Electric start would lock up, pulling the rope really hard, figured I'd break something, rope or handle if I kept it up.

Bought the above model, about 5 - 6 hours use, electric start and pull cord won't turn engine over. Dealer says camshaft is bad, not the first he's seen. Also says parts are currently backordered. Sent an email to Honda expressing my no-holds barred feelings, we'll see what happens with that...
