Thanks for the response...mower deck wheels & hardware are good. I'd think the play would be in the lift linkage but I've added a washer or two there to tighten that up. I guess I'll focus next on the belt tensioner arm & area. Thanks again.

My JD Z425 mower deck rattles (metal to metal slapping sound) when lowered to the ground and traveling regardless if mower is engaged or not. It makes no noise when mower deck is up and traveling engaged or not. Any thoughts on where to start?
