Write a bill out and make it out to sub contracting for services, naturally get insurance copy and all that happy jazz and send him a 1099 at tax time. Thats always an alternative. I could never hire anyone Id be broke, might as well shut the doors right now. It costs way more than I anticipated.

battery and the seat safety feature

I always show the old parts, 9 times out of 10 the customer dont even know what they are looking at. Belts is a no brainer for people, But in most cases they have that deer in the headlights look while I explain the function of the part and why it failed. The best customers are the ones that...

Ive been dealing with Stens now for well over 4 years and they are a great company other than the above belt problems. battery and the seat safety feature

Just an FYI as well, The charging system is designed to maintain the charge in the battery, its not made too charge the battery. Especially if its 9 volts like you said. Any battery thats below 12.25 could come back to life with a slow charge kind of wakes it up so to speak. trying to charge a...

The better straight shaft name brand equipment you have a chance to make a couple bucks. I started too fizzle out the cheap brands myself, might end up shooting myself in the foot in the long run, but ill lock the doors and go home fir the day before i work for free. Those days are long gone too.

This is exactly why I don't work on cheap trimmers. Its hard to hand someone a bill for $70 when its an $80 trimmer. Not to mention its hard to make money on trimmers to begin with.
