i have a Honda GX340 on a generator. I purchased an aftermarket carb to replace the original. Carburetor appears to have different vent grooves in the face of the carb that attaches to the head. How do i know which gasket to use?

currently working on a LX255. Starter circuit board has burned out circuit board. purchased new board and burned it out also. Can the circuit board be discarded and just use a standard coil pack and adding a solenoid to fire the electric PTO?
