thanks for the PM with the picture i got it back together. it was the choke connecting rod that goes under the cowling and to the carb

so long story short. a buddy borrowed it and put bad gas in it and he tried to fix it by removing and cleaning everything. but unfortunately he cant remember how the metal throttle connecting rods went on after he took them off. can someone who owns one please take a picture of your assembly...
