    Quick update, after I figured out it was a blade adaptor and not part of the actual crankshaft(which is what I originally thought, and why I wanted to cut it off) I found a tutorial on Youtube where they used a 2 jaw gear puller and a nut, which worked a charm. Thanks for all your help...

    Yeah, ill need to be buying the tools to do that, but the blade adaptor currently on there won't be going back on, so could I cut the thing off, or is there a better method to get something like that off?
