    I took the battery out hooked the cables to my pickup battery. Zing, started right up! Getting another battery on Monday. T

    I took the starter apart, 600 grit polished the commutator, and put back together. Now it drops the battery voltage to 9.0V and barely starts the engine. But it does start it.

    High current draw. New battery and battery drops to 8.5V while turning over!

    Hi all I’ve got a simple question. Can I change the shaft seal on this engine in my Cub Cadet 1045LT without removing the engine from the mower? Thanks George
