Unable to source replacement brake disc, part # 407134 (Husqvarna part # 583301401). All I can find are listings showing as “Discontinued”. This is a long shot I know but does anyone know of a suitable replacement that matches the OEM part?

I am confused! My faithful LT2000 no longer brakes. While servicing the brake and reassembling everything I noticed the brake disc doesn’t turn when the rear wheels are turned (while jacked up). I checked the splines and the brake disc positively engages on the shaft. Am I looking at a transaxle...

Hello from the sometimes sunny Isle of Anglesey in Wales. I have a 10 year old Craftsman LT2000 17.5hp 42” deck which has been worked hard (including brushhogging!) and continues to be reliable and sturdy. I have several other mowers, petrol and electric, but the Craftsman is by far the favourite.

I've been using lawnmowers for 60 years but my all time favourite is the Craftsman LT2000 which I've owned since 2008.
