    i got a briggs 550ex when i got it it had hit something hard the blade was on upside down and the oil was full of gas and the keyway had been searded of so it was out of time i fixed all that and it still acts like its out of time looked at the valves the pushrods the carb the plug im stuck...

    any body no why the piston would hit the spark plug replaced cam before this but its poping and backfiring now and the spark plug hit the piston
