got a brand new briggs stratton 21HP motor. installed it, added fluids and it turns over and over and over, but no start. shot a little bit of starting fluid in spark plug hole and it fired up very breifly...enough to burn off that fluid then back to the no starting.

I have a briggs Stratton 20HP on a craftsman DLS3600. model number of engine is 31p977 type 0635E1 Engine is smoking horrible, clanking, leaking oil. Instead of repairing...I'd rather just replace. Not sure if I can get a bigger engine (which would be nice) or if I have to source the same...
