    Craftsman with Kohler SV590 will only sputter Help!

    Got a craftsman here 2004 with SV590 19 Hp Kohler. Its getting spark, by-passed any fuel issues by using start fluid directly into the carburetor mount, it will sputter a little then thats all. Should make it fire to 2-3k rpm? Basic compression test with one of those that you screw in the hose...

    Need advise! Could I not just remove the axle housing to repair the leaking of oil here around the axle (oil seal & bearing) as it comes out of the housing.
